TWELFTH GATE: Guest Singer To Perform At CHICAGO POWERFEST
March 7, 2006Due to uncontrollable circumstances, singer Scott Huffman will not be performing with TWELFTH GATE during their performance at the Chicago Powerfest. Guest singer and close friend of the band, Brent "Red" Erickson, will be handling vocal duties for the show.
"The band would like to apologize to anyone who may be disappointed because of Scott's absence, but at the same time promises to deliver an aural assault that no TWELFTH GATE fan has ever seen before," the group write in a statement. "Also, if anyone is expecting a Scott clone, you could not be more wrong."
As previously reported, Chicago Powerfest 2006 will take place on Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8 at Mr. Kelley's Music Box in Chicago Heights, IL. Also scheduled to appear at the festival are NOCTURNAL RITES, MORGANA LEFAY, ELDRITCH, BIOMECHANICAL, AGENT STEEL, ION VEIN, GRACEPOINT, MIRROR BLACK and WITHERING SOUL.
